Decorative Stamped Concrete
One of the hottest trends in landscaping design today is the application of decorative stamped concrete for patios, driveways, sidewalks, walkways. Traditional landscaped outdoor living areas no longer have a traditional appearance but, boast a wonderful combination of texture and color to bring the interior design...outdoors.

Clients choose a color and texture from our color charts and stamp photo library. Gradework begins and forms are set for the area that will be poured. Color techniques and hardener are applied while the cement is wet. Timing is critical when applying the stamp mat to the concrete along with the color release agent. Stamp design mats are tamped into the concrete while it is still able to take an impression. Upon complete drying, the concrete is rinsed with water, removing the release agent residue and a sealer is applied. Vertical Concrete Stamping
All of our decorative stamp patterns can be applied to vertical surfaces as well as horizontal. Vertical concrete stamping can make great design solutions for deck skirts, fireplace surrounds, kitchen and bathroom backsplashes and accent walls.

Colored Concrete
Concrete no longer has to be grey and boring! The color options and color techniques available offer endless creative ideas for your unique concrete patio, driveway or countertop need. Colored concrete may be applied separately or in conjunction with decorative stamping techniques and, adds an elegant touch to concrete application.

Color application first begins with the selection of an integral color which sets the base or backdrop color for the concrete. A color release powder keeps the stamp from sticking to the concrete, in addition to provide an accent antique patina affect to the texture of the concrete. Using a variety of color releases can create a unique marbling effect. Color hardener can also be used as the primary color of the concrete project or can be broadcast sparingly for a unique color accent on the surface.

Exposed Aggregate
Comparable to the appearance of the edge of granite or marble, exposed aggregate provides yet another design option for you concrete surface. Used well before the innovation of pattern stamping, stenciling and decorative overlays became popular trends, exposed aggregate offers numerous advantages including a rugged, nonskid surface resistant to heavy traffic and weather, unlimited color/texture options and limited lifetime maintenance other than sealing and occassional cleaning.

Acid Stain
A popular application for transforming the traditional grey concrete slab, acid staining is a topically applied color using acid-based chemical and stains to achieve a rich, earth-toned color scheme that resembles the natural textures from nature including, marble, wood, stone and even leather. The chemical in acid stain application actually etch the surface of concrete and becomes a permanent part of the concrete so it won't fade, chip or peel away. The stain is transluscent, much like wood stain, and colors can vary depending upon the new or existing concrete in which the acid stain is applied. Decorative Overlays
